The Income Tax Department has identified unaccounted exchanges of over ₹ 500 crore after it attacked an Ahmedabad-based land engineer and connected agents as a component of a tax avoidance test, the Central Board of Direct Taxes or CBDT asserted today.
"Reports uncover unaccounted pay of more than ₹ 200 crore in the possession of the land bunch and furthermore unaccounted pay of more than ₹ 200 crore in the possession of the gatherings recorded in the archives found from the ownership of the intermediaries."
"In general, the hunt and seizure activity has brought about the location of unaccounted exchanges of more than ₹ 500 crore," it said in an assertion.
