Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all seem to be down with the thousands of users reporting the big end.
The three bulls on social media are all facing problems at the global outbreak, according to DownDetector.
Social media users who tried to log on to Facebook received a text message that read: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll fix it as soon as possible."
WhatsApp and Instagram users have also reported problems with messaging and photo sharing apps.
More than 20,000 WhatsApp users have reported problems using the world's instant messaging service from around 4pm UK time.
In a statement on Twitter, Facebook said: "We know some people have trouble accessing our apps and products.
"We are working on getting things back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible.

And Instagram added: "Instagram and friends are having a hard time right now, and you may have problems with using them. Carry it, we're in it!"
Facebook communications chief Andy Stone said the company, which owns all three platforms, as well as the Messenger app, was "working to restore order as soon as possible."
