Surat: A man supposedly killed his 12-year-old child by driving him into a waterway in Gujarat's Surat city, and guaranteed that the kid had fallen in while taking a selfie, police said on Wednesday.
The police on Tuesday captured Saeed Ilyas Sheik for supposedly pushing his child Zakir off a scaffold over the Tapi stream on October 31, an authority from Rander police headquarters said.
The charged had purportedly would not recognize the kid as his child and guaranteed that his better half had an illegal relationship with somebody when she was living with her folks for a considerable length of time in view of a homegrown question, the authority said.
Mr. Sheik let the police know that he had chosen to kill Zakir, as the last option recognized his significant other's supposed darling as his dad and not him, he said.
The kid's body was recuperated on Tuesday, following which the denounced was captured, the authority said, adding that further examination was in progress.
