Aryankhan's bail plea in the Mumbai Cruise Drugs Party case was heard in the Bombay High Court today (Thursday). The hearing was held at 2.30 pm today. Following the hearing, the court ruled that Aryankhan had been granted bail.
Finally after 26 days there has been a big relief in the drugs case. Today is the third day of hearing in the Mumbai High Court. Arguments of Aryankhanas Arbaaz Merchant, Moonmoon Dhamecha were completed on Wednesday. Today, the NCB took a stand on the issue. ASG Anil Singh defended the NCB in court.
Aryankhan gets bail
Aryankhan has finally been granted bail in a drugs case. Aryankhan was arrested by the NCB in a drugs case. It is being said that Aryankhan will be released from jail not today but tomorrow.
ASG Anil Singh, referring to the Supreme Court, said that bail should not be granted in view of the liberal outlook in the NDPS Act. Aryankhan had a conscious possession of drugs. He tried to deal drugs in commercial quantities. ASG Anil Singh further said that he had proof that Aryankhan was supplying drugs.
Aryankhan will spend tonight in jail. Aryan, Arbaaz, Moonmoon will be able to get out of jail only after receiving a copy of the court order, all three will be able to get out of jail on Friday or Saturday.
Mane said they are just having an argument over the drugs seized. He told the court on Wednesday that he would try to keep the whole thing to himself in an hour. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha, who were arrested on October 3 in connection with drug possession during an NCB raid on a cruise near Mumbai beach, have been in jail since October 3. After hearing an estimated two hours on Wednesday on the case, Justice Samber said, we will try to complete it.
