UP Good News: UP Government is preparing to give Old Age Pension Scheme. On the occasion of International Day for Older Persons on October 1, the second quarter installment of old age pension administered by the State Social Welfare Department will be transferred online to the beneficiary's bank account. 1500 will be transferred at the rate.
Prior to the event, the Social Welfare Minister will visit the old age home in Sarojininagar and distribute clothes to the elderly living there, tomorrow and talk to them. Similarly, programs will be organized for the elderly living in the old age homes of each district.
Addressing a program recently, CM Yogi Adityanath said that it was very difficult to get LPG connections and cylinders in the previous governments of the state, but the present government is giving free LPG connections to the poor.
The Chief Minister was addressing a one-day training program for the newly elected District Panchayat Presidents of the state at Yojana Bhawan in Lucknow. He said that free LPG connection is being provided to a large number of eligible families under Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana.
He said that under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, housing facilities were provided to the poor without any discrimination. Under Swachh Bharat Mission, toilet facilities were made available to 100 million people.
The Chief Minister said that since becoming the Prime Minister in 2014, Narendra Modi has been successfully and effectively representing the 125 crore population of the country. He has enhanced the country's prestige on the global stage and has implemented various welfare schemes not on the basis of caste, creed, religion etc.
