Man kills wife for Rs 2 lakh, car in dowry |
The Noida Police on Thursday (August 26) captured a 25-year-elderly person blamed for tormenting and killing his significant other alongside his family over requests for Rs 2 lakh cash and a vehicle in endowment, authorities said. The couple had got hitched in December last year and was living in Chhalera town, which goes under the purview of Sector 39 police headquarters here, the authorities said.
Discontent with the settlement, the spouse, his folks, and sister actually and intellectually badgering the lady, who hailed from the Mainpuri region, since the couple's wedding, her dad asserted.
"The family, which hails from Auraiyya region, needed Rs 2 lakh more and a vehicle in endowment after the marriage. I didn't have the monetary condition to bear the cost, all things considered, after the wedding," he claimed in a police protest.
The lady was discovered dead at her significant other's home on August 23 after which an FIR was stopped based on her dad's objection. "The spouse had requested the extra share from his significant other's family. He tormented his better half over non-satisfaction of the requests, prompting her demise on August 23. The blamed has been captured," a police representative said.
The blame has been reserved under Indian Penal Code segments 498A (badgering of individual for unlawful interest), 398B (share demise), and under applicable arrangements of the Dowry Prohibition Act, the police said.
