The Delhi government has forced a prohibition on the capacity, deal and utilization of fireworks during Diwali this year too, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said Wednesday.
Thinking about the risky degrees of contamination during Diwali in the course of the most recent three years, a total boycott is being forced on the capacity, deal and utilization of fireworks this year, Kejriwal tweeted. The boycott was forced last year too.
Last year, a postponed inconvenience of the total prohibition on fireworks had caused misfortunes for dealers who had loaded up, Kejriwal said in his tweet. He proceeded to demand dealers not to load up on fireworks this year.
In 2020, the public authority had forced a sweeping restriction on fireworks, including those that were considered 'green', between November 7 and November 30. The unexpected boycott of fireworks when contamination levels shot up had prompted misfortunes for dealers.
The National Green Tribunal had additionally restricted fireworks last year from November 9 to November 30 in the National Capital Region and where the normal air quality in November had dipped under the 'poor' classification.
