To avail this scheme, the age of the applicant should be between 18-59 years. Apart from this only the head of the family can avail the benefit of this scheme or the earning member of the BPL family can avail this scheme. That is, there should be a member whose earnings cover the expenses of the family.

Benefits of this plan
1. If the applicant dies due to natural causes, Rs. 30,000 is given to his family under this scheme.
2. If the plan taker dies in an accident, his nominee is paid Rs. 75,000.
3. If the head of the family becomes physically handicapped in an accident, he will be given Rs. 75,000.
4. If the person taking the scheme becomes mentally handicapped, he will have to pay Rs. 37,500.
5. Under the fifth benefit, if the plan taker dies, two children of the family from class 9 to 12 will be given a scholarship of Rs. 100 per month.

To take advantage of this plan, you have to submit 5 required documents. You can start this scheme by submitting ration card, birth certificate, school certificate, voter identity card and Aadhaar card.

At the same time, if the subscriber of the scheme dies, the money is sent from LIC to the account of his nominee.
