| BJP Picks Bhupendra Patel As New CM Of Gujarat |
Gandhinagar: In Gujarat, BJP has decided to make a new Chief Minister of BJP's Tycoon Patidar Leader and Ghatdia Legislator Bhupendra Patel. On Saturday, Chief Minister, the BJP would make the Chief Minister after the resignation of Vijay Rupani. After 24 hours of suspense, BJP has selected Bhaperend Patel as a successor of the response.
Bhupendra Patel was announced as the Chief Minister in the presence of observers Narendrasinh Tomar and Prahlad Joshi sent by the BJP High Command. After one and a half years in Gujarat, i.e. in November-December 2022, assembly elections are to be held. Because of this, there is an impression that BJP has made Patidar the Chief Minister.
Earlier, after Vijay Rupani's resignation, there was a long debate in the BJP over who should be made the chief minister. Observers Narendrasinh Tomar and Prahlad Joshi, sent by the BJP high command, discussed the matter with senior BJP leaders. The names sent by the High Command were also reported and on the basis of which the MLAs were instructed to propose names in the meeting.
All the MLAs were instructed to be present at the meeting of the MLAs convened at BJP headquarters Kamalam at 3 pm. Nitin Patel's name was announced by observers Narendrasinh Tomar and Prahlad Joshi sent by the BJP high command. All the MLAs present at the meeting hailed Bhupendra Patel's name and unanimously appointed Bhupendra Patel as the leader of the BJP assembly party.
BJP leaders are likely to demand time from Governor Acharya Debabrat on Monday to form a government. BJP's National Organization Minister B. L. Santosh, Gujarat BJP state general secretary Ratnakar, Gujarat BJP in-charge Bhupendra Yadav besides state president C.R. BJP sources claim that the leader, including Patil, will go to the governor to file a suit.
